The rust-coloured earth, native pines and aromatic scrub covering the dramatic coastline of the Algarve set the scene for the location of this Villa Project in Valle Do Lobo. Our client, whose Mews house in London we completed a few years ago, came back to us with the brief to design a holiday villa in this beautiful location.

CLIENT DESIGN REPRESENTATIVE OVERSEAS
LAB were appointed as Overseas Client Design Consultants on this multi-international site project for a global gaming firm. Our brief was to facilitate the design of retreats in Costa Rica, Virginia, Sonoma, San Diego and Hawaii The client had realised that with most staffers working from home there was an opportunity instead of investing in offices to instead create sustainable retreats for company meetups and pow wows, while also providing exceptional facilities for rest and relaxation for their staff.
Our role was to take the selected sites through an initial concept and feasibility stage, before pulling together a local team of consultants to further develop the scheme. The client relied on our independent strategic advice to define the brief, understand the objectives, set the strategy for the design vision and hand pick the team of consultants, co-ordinate the delivery of their schemes and feedback as client design representative.
